Coffee brand Kenco is set to invigorate the category with the launch of two additions to its Iced/Hot range - a Whipped Americano Frappe and a Creamy Latte.

The launches will offer retailers an opportunity to drive sales and attract younger consumers seeking convenient, coffee shop-style experiences at home, it advises.

Tapping into the popularity of both Americano and Frappe drinks, Kenco is the first to market with an Americano Frappe in a sachet format. This product caters to the growing demand for iced coffee, and the first-of-its-kind beverage delivers the familiar taste of an Americano with an aerated texture.

The mixed, delicate bubbles cascade throughout the drink, reminiscent of a Nitro Cold Brew. Topped with a thick crema that holds its form from first sip to last, the Americano Frappe offers a refreshing pick-me-up with a uniquely satisfying and visually appealing coffee indulgence.

The launch will be supported with extensive marketing activations including in-store sampling and shopper initiatives.

The Creamy Latte builds on the success of the existing Kenco Iced/Hot and Latte ranges. With Latte being the top choice for coffee shop consumers, the new product offers a dual-function format, allowing consumers to enjoy a delicious latte either hot or iced from a single box.

The in-home frothy coffee category also continues to grow, driven by the successful launch of Kenco’s Millicano Speciality tins last year.

Maria Kabalyk, head of category and shopper at supplier Jacobs Douwe Egberts Peet’s UK and IE, said: “Convenience is king in today’s market, and our new Iced/Hot range directly addresses that demand. By offering delicious coffee shop flavours in a convenient format, we’re empowering retailers to capitalise on the growing consumer desire for a wider range of high-quality, convenient iced coffee choices.”

Kenco’s Iced/Hot Whipped Americano Frappe comes in packs of eight sachets of 11.5g each, while the Creamy Latte’s eight sachets are each 18.3g. Both boxes carry and RRP of £1.99.
