National Lottery operator Allwyn is again supporting retailers ahead of tonight’s (30 May) spectacular £185m EuroMillions jackpot.
If one lucky UK ticket-holder was to scoop the entire life-changing sum, they would instantly become one of the UK’s biggest National Lottery winners of all time.
In the lead-up to tonight’s 7.30pm purchase cut-off, Allwyn has said that retailers can expect a steep rise in store footfall and a 90% sales uplift compared to a normal draw. It has rushed out some Over £150m posters to tens of thousands of stores and the jackpot is also being supported on in-store media screens and with ATL advertising – including newspapers and radio.
Allwyn’s Head of Field Sales, Karl Southworth, said: “The incredible EuroMillions jackpot has now reached a jaw-dropping £185m, presenting significant sales and footfall opportunities for National Lottery retailers. It’s also a great way to get customers talking about all the inventive ways they could indulge their interests and dreams.
“As always, by selling National Lottery tickets, our retail partners aren’t just giving their customers the chance to win big or boosting their bottom lines. They’re also helping to raise more than £30m every week for National Lottery-funded Good Causes – so it really is a win-win.”
