Booker is to launch a fresh and frozen food brochure, designed to support retailers in maximising opportunities across one of the fastest-growing areas in convenience, it says.
As shoppers increasingly prioritise good value fresh and frozen food close to home, the wholesaler is working on a resource aimed at helping retailers better meet demand in their local communities. The brochure will spotlight standout lines across Booker’s Retail Partners’ (BRP) fresh and frozen ranges, including own brand favourites such as Jack’s.
A wide selection of everyday essentials will be featured across a variety of popular categories. Favourites such as Jack’s Garlic Flatbread, British Cooked Ham, Grated Mature Cheddar, Garden Peas, and crisp Royal Gala Apples are planned to be included alongside key sections including frozen bread, cooked meats, cheese, frozen vegetables and fresh fruit.
Retailers will have the opportunity to explore an even broader range of options in categories like fruit and nuts, deli, eggs, fish, fresh herbs, salads and vegetables, as well as juices and smoothies, Booker says.
The brochure will also include category insights on relevant information that relates to the wider market and consumer trends, as well as top tips for merchandising, and clear examples of what success can look like in store.
